As Carla approaches our 4 year anniversary (with our upcoming issue 16), I am overwhelmed and honored by the way the magazine has been received in our community. When I launched the magazine in 2015, I never could have foreseen the enthusiasm, and love that you, our readers, have for the magazine and the role it plays within the L.A. art community. THANK YOU for your steadfast support! Seriously, thank you—without a devoted reader base, we could not be where we are today.

Since the early days, we have expanded our content to include not only quarterly print issues and weekly online reviews, but also a monthly podcast, which just wrapped up its second season. Our discourse across these mediums remains committed to a rich dialogue about the L.A. art community that is steadfastly approachable and critical, sometimes messy, and always deep-diving. As we round the corner into our fifth year, this conversation has become a rich tapestry that includes all of you—our readers and listeners. The dialogue has evolved and become more flavorful, like a simmering stew.
